Not everything that illuminates, reveals.
And not everything that is dark, destroys.
There is a part of us that does not show:
made of voiceless desires, silent rage,
memories that pulse beneath the skin.
It is invisible matter.
Like that which holds galaxies together.
It cannot be seen.
Yet it holds everything in place.

This video is not about light or shadow.
It is about what happens when we stop choosing.
When we accept being everything.
Light, mask, darkness, need.
Good and evil as dancing forces,
the visible and the invisible as layers of the same face.

Black is not the opposite of light.
It is its silent origin.

NL: Het Zwart dat Alles Samenhoudt

Niet alles wat licht geeft, onthult.
En niet alles wat donker is, vernietigt.
Er is een deel van ons dat zich niet toont:
gemaakt van stemloze verlangens, stille woede,
herinneringen die onder de huid kloppen.
Het is onzichtbare materie.
Zoals datgene wat sterrenstelsels bijeenhoudt.
Het is niet zichtbaar.
Maar het houdt alles bijeen.

Deze video gaat niet over licht of schaduw.
Het gaat over wat er gebeurt wanneer we stoppen met kiezen.
Wanneer we accepteren dat we alles zijn.
Licht, masker, duisternis, behoefte.
Goed en kwaad als dansende krachten,
het zichtbare en het onzichtbare als lagen van hetzelfde gezicht.

Zwart is niet het tegenovergestelde van licht.
Het is de stille oorsprong ervan.

Non tutto ciò che illumina, rivela.
E non tutto ciò che è oscuro, distrugge.
C'è una parte di noi che non si mostra:
fatta di desideri senza voce, di rabbia silenziosa,
di ricordi che pulsano sotto la pelle.
È materia invisibile.
Come quella che tiene insieme le galassie.
Non si vede.
Eppure tiene tutto al suo posto.

Questo video non parla di luce o di ombra.
Parla di ciò che accade quando smettiamo di scegliere.
Quando accettiamo di essere tutto.
Luce, maschera, buio, bisogno.
Bene e male come forze che danzano,
il visibile e l'invisibile come strati dello stesso volto.

Il nero non è il contrario della luce.
È la sua origine silenziosa.

A train in motion.
A child looks out the window.
The horizon bends onto itself.
It duplicates, confuses, reinvents.
Fields become skies.
Houses float.
Trees grow upside down.
In that reflection, reality does not vanish:
it transforms.

Parallels is a visual journey through the gaze of childhood.
A place where logic breaks
and the world recreates itself, free, sideways.
Like when we were little and looked outside,
and everything became something else.

A vision not of the world as it is,
but of how it could be.
Surreal, fluid, wrong, perfect.
Where every reflection is a new possibility.
Where time is in no hurry.
Where the journey leads nowhere,
but opens worlds.

NL: De Wereld Die Niet Bestaat Maar Op De Onze Lijkt

Een rijdende trein.
Een kind kijkt uit het raam.
De horizon buigt in zichzelf.
Verdubbelt, verwart, herschept.
Velden worden luchten.
Huizen zweven.
Bomen groeien ondersteboven.
In die reflectie verdwijnt de werkelijkheid niet:
ze transformeert.

Parallels is een visuele reis door de blik van een kind.
Een plek waar logica breekt
en de wereld zich hermaakt, vrij, zijdelings.
Zoals toen we klein waren en naar buiten keken,
en alles iets anders werd.

Een visie niet van de wereld zoals die is,
maar zoals die zou kunnen zijn.
Surrealistisch, vloeiend, fout, perfect.
Waar elke reflectie een nieuwe mogelijkheid is.
Waar de tijd geen haast heeft.
Waar de reis nergens heen leidt,
maar werelden opent.

IT: Il mondo che non esiste ma somiglia al nostro

Un treno in movimento.
Un bambino guarda fuori dal finestrino.
L'orizzonte si piega su se stesso.
Si duplica, si confonde, si reinventa.
I campi diventano cieli.
Le case fluttuano.
Gli alberi crescono capovolti.
In quel riflesso la realtà non svanisce:
si trasforma.

Parallels è un viaggio visivo attraverso lo sguardo dell'infanzia.
Un luogo dove la logica si spezza
e il mondo si ricrea, libero, di sbieco.
Come quando eravamo piccoli e guardavamo fuori,
e ogni cosa diventava un'altra.

Una visione non del mondo com'è,
ma di come potrebbe essere.
Surreale, fluido, sbagliato, perfetto.
Dove ogni riflesso è una nuova possibilità.
Dove il tempo non ha fretta.
Dove il viaggio non porta da nessuna parte,
ma apre mondi.
